We knock on doors to find neighbors who need help and neighbors who want to give it, then bring them together with local businesses.
Flyers get tossed. Posts scroll by. A knock gets answered. So we do it the old way, one porch at a time, and actually talk to people.
The neighbor who could use a hand and the neighbor who wants to give one usually live on the same street. They just haven't met yet. We fix that.
Same playbook every time. It works for a food drive, a garden, or a car meet.
Teams go door to door in the neighborhoods that need it most. Friendly, quick, no pitch.
We find out who could use groceries, a garden plot or a hand, and who wants to help. Everyone gets a real follow-up.
We connect neighbors to food drives, local programs and events where local businesses show up too.
We're door knockers first. Everything we do starts on a porch.
We knock to spread the word, collect cans and get them to the people who stock pantries across San Antonio.
For the San Antonio Food BankOther non-profits bring the program. We bring the doors. We find the families they're built to serve and the volunteers to help run it.
For partner non-profitsWe put neighbors, local businesses and other non-profits on one lot with food, music and something worth showing up for.
For the whole neighborhoodFall 2026 is our first season. Here's where we'll be.
Our first day out. We're canvassing neighborhoods to find families and volunteers for From Scratch, a community garden that teaches families to grow their own food.
The garden families sit down to a meal made from what they grew. The doors we knock in October help fill those seats.
Bring a can, see the cars. A free car meet and community day with food trucks, music and local vendors, all collecting canned food for the San Antonio Food Bank.
No experience needed. If you can say hi and walk a block, you can knock with us.
Pick what fits. We'll reach out with dates, times and where to meet. If you or someone you know could use a hand, you can ask here too. Same crowd, same street.
Thanks for raising your hand. Someone from our team will reach out soon with next steps.
You don't have to knock to be part of this.
Every can at Fill the Tank goes to the San Antonio Food Bank. Grab a few on your way out.
Local business? Sponsor a drive or bring a booth. You meet the neighborhood, they meet you.
Tell us you're inOnline giving is coming soon. Our 501(c)(3) application is in. Until then, reach out and we'll tell you where it helps most.
